The renaming of Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren Breakfast show to Jase, Lauren & Clint was only made official this morning – but, as it turns out, social media had already had an inkling of the change.
That’s because there were clues popping up all over town that Clint Stanaway might soon be formally recognised in the title.

In the week leading up to today’s announcement, graffiti mysteriously started to appear on Jase & Lauren billboards all over Melbourne.
Words such as ‘and Clint’ and ‘What about Clint?’ were scribbled onto the existing billboards, prompting an influx of online posts.

This morning on the show – after the new Jase, Lauren & Clint show was announced – Jase and Lauren revealed the graffiti was in fact an inside NOVA job.
It was all courtesy of the Jase, Lauren & Clint producing team and the NOVA Marketing department – with the blessing of the outdoor marketing agency managing the billboards, Revolution360.
Even Jase and Lauren got in on the action over the weekend, taking it upon themselves to ‘update’ one of the billboards like stealth bombers in the dead of night.
After the announcement was made this morning, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called into the show to congratulate Clint. He even took the time to formally re-introduce them to their audience.
Jase Hawkins: News has gone interstate. Tony from cameras on the air. Morning Tony!
PM: It’s Anthony, actually!
Lauren Phillips: Oh Albo! It’s the Prime Minister. Morning Albo!
PM: Good morning. How are you?
Lauren: Oh, look, we’re celebrating in here Albo. What do you think is this one of Australia’s great injustices that we’ve finally righted?
PM: It is indeed, I think Clint has been carrying the show. It’s really important that he get his name on the door. And he’s done it in under two years. It took me 26 years in Parliament to get my name on the on the big door. Well done Clint!
Lauren: Is this what everyone in Canberra is talking about today.
Albo: The Japanese Prime Minister is flying as a result of this news. This is a global story, not just Melbourne or Canberra. This is an injustice which is being righted, and it’s a great thing, congratulations.
Clint: Oh, thank you so much PM, I really appreciate it. The bloody PM!
Lauren: Hey, Albo, just before we let you go…. Could you please introduce the new show Jase, Lauren and Clint for us?
PM: Listeners. This is Jase, Lauren and Clint. About time!
