Joel Corry’s latest hit ‘I Wish’ featuring Mabel makes a move up the latest AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart to No. 26. Rising 10 spots from last week, KIIS Sydney and Melbourne contributed 66 spins (25.6%), while Nova also pitched in substantially across the network. Overall, spins for the song improved by 27.1% this week.
Music directors increased their support for Taylor Swift’s ‘Message In A Bottle’, pushing the song up 12 spots and into the Top 10 on its second charting week. It’s Taylor’s first appearance in the bracket since ‘Mr Perfectly Fine’ peaked at No. 4 in June. ‘Bottle’ was Nova’s fourth most-played song of the chart week with 266 spins.
At No. 36, Dean Lewis’ ‘Looks Like Me’ enters the Top 40 for the first time with 181 spins. The single received airplay from 30 outlets nationally, extending across five formats. Melbourne stations added 44 spins, the most of any market. Lewis is currently the eighth highest-charting Australian artist.
