John Inglis signs off from radio after 25 years

7HO FM Program Director John Inglis will sign off for the final time on August 12 after a 25 year career in radio. He is moving to Queensland and joining the Police force.

 

Inglis has worked with, guided and mentored some of Australia’s hottest radio talent  through positions with Austereo, DMG Radio, ABC, RGCapital and Grant Broadcasters. Most recently Inglis has steered Hobart’s 7HOFM101.7 and the all-new Breakfast with the Stars through an ongoing period of growth and development.

 

7HOFM General Manager  Gil Sellars has told radioinfo:

The new era of 7HOFM has begun and we wish to convey our sincere gratitude to John for his dedication, passion and commitment over the past four years. John Inglis says:

“It’s been a fantastic ride and I would like to sincerely thank all of you I have met over the years. 7HOFM has been great fun and the buzz of a station moving forward is still a fantastic feeling. That said, I look forward to leaving the Uggboots behind and moving to North Queensland to spend more time with my beautiful wife Nancy, two adorable girls Chiaraand Tamika, and chase a dream in The Force. Thanks again for the ride”
