Jules steals ZM’s cat chat segment, Mel B joining UK X Factor

On 2Day FM’s Jules, Merrick and Sophie with Mel B breakfast show this morning, Jules was shocked to find out he actually didn’t invent his beloved ‘Cat Chat‘ segment.
 
It turns out that the Fletch, Vaughan and Megan show on New Zealand’s ZM has been doing a similar segment called Cat News since 2008, long before Jules kicked his off in 2011.
 
They then got Vaughan from ZM on the air and things got a little furry – including Jules losing it when he found out that Vaughan doesn’t even have a cat.

In today’s show, Mel B also revealed that she will soon join the UK’s X Factor tv show, igniting speculation that the 4 person breakfast team may soon be slimmed down to three.
