Kath Dwyer joins 5CC breakfast

The Eyre Peninsula’s 5CC has a brand new breakfast host, Kathryn Dwyer.

Kath is also a newcomer to radio.  From Adelaide, she studied at the Australian Radio School under industry veteran Sean Craig Murphy. During her studies, she won the X Factor Award and the school’s in-house advertising writing competition.

Kath takes over from Brett Prince who is departing the dawn hours for a Content Director role with Eyre Peninsula Broadcasters earlier this month.

Eyre Peninsula Broadcasters General Manager & ARN SA Regional Area Lead Darren Allard said:

“We are very excited to welcome Kath to our dynamic team and also thrilled to be able to give Brett the well deserved opportunity to lead the on air team.”

Kath rounds out Eyre Peninsula Broadcasters’ full-time breakfast team, joining Magic 89.9’s James Risby who joined the station via Magic 105.9 in Port Augusta, and newsreader Brooke Seychell, a former Executive Producer for 4BC in Brisbane.
