A day after releasing his tell-all memoir You Thought You Knew,  Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline has bared all in an exclusive Australian interview this morning with the KIIS Network’s Kyle & Jackie O.

Discussing everything from the last time he spoke to Spears to the to the phone call she made to ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake the night before their wedding, Federline expressed deep concern for her welfare.

Jackie: Can I ask, did you share any of [the memoir] with Britney beforehand, and have you heard from her since, if not?

Kevin: No, I haven’t, unfortunately. We haven’t talked in years. And no, I didn’t call her about the book.

Jackie:  I think in the book you talk about how you were always concerned about her welfare, and that someone needs to kind of step in and look after her. And I think for us, the public, we watch her on Instagram, and we see these kind of posts that seem to not make sense. What is it that we are confused about? What is actually going on with Britney?

Kevin: Right. Well, I mean, look, the situation is bad and I don’t really want to dive into her privacy, but I felt like I needed to tell the stories that have happened and come forward and tell the truth and just really ring the alarm and try to get some support for my sons and the people that care about her, because I’m actually terrified that something bad is going to happen if nobody steps in.
