As they quite madly committed to, KIIS 1023‘s Ben and Liam completed a radio first over the weekend, managing to get to ALL nine AFL Gather Round games in their Gather Round-a-thon.

But it wasn’t as simple as rocking up to each South Australian game. Oh no. They had to take a different mode of transport to each one, finish a pie and drink an ice coffee at every game, and see a goal before they could leave for the next. 

That included hitchhiking, bus, limo, skydiving (see Ben above, clearly loving it) rollerblades and mobility scooters.

The last leg was 66 kilometres on a tandem bicycle from Barossa to Adelaide Oval for the Port v St Kilda Game.

Ben and Liam said, “Wooooo!!!! Did we make it? You bet your arse we did it! Two men, nine  games of footy, nine litres of milk, 18 pies and 210 kilometres travelled!”
