Kyle Sandilands was rushed to hospital on Friday morning for what management described as a “health scare.” But by Saturday night he posted this message on KJO Facebook page: “thanks for everyone’s messages. Im ok! You guys are the best and the reason we have the number 1 show! K xx” The Herald-Sun in Melbourne reported that he was at the recording of Australia’s Got Talent on Sunday.

On Friday he was due at a charity event for the McGrath Foundation, but it was cancelled just after 7 am. It turned out to be high blood pressure. He is now at home resting and thanks the many well wishers who hve visited The Kyle and Jackie O facebook page.

Southern Cross Austereo General Manager, Jeremy Simpson, informed staff and organisers, “Unfortunately Kyle is in hospital due to a health scare therefore we have had to postpone this morning’s kissing booth at World Square.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to getting those gold coin donations for the McGrath Foundation very soon.”
