Latest radio equipment at SMPTE 2013

John Maizels gets excited as he explores the SMPTE exhibition for radioinfo.

Split consoles, transmitters, combiners, pickup pre-amps, iphone field kit via bluetooth, foldback interruptus…  John just can’t contain himself.

The part-time brekkie-broadcaster and full-time techno-tragic trawled the floor to uncover gems of interest for our readers.

This report was put together by members of the SMPTE Student Video Project.

Over on the Innescorp stand, as mentioned in the video, radio R&D was represented by an updated series of Innes’ locally designed and produced audio cards, a new Flashlog that can record every station in Australia at once, and several clever product releases from Tieline.

See the report from that stand here.
