90.1 Chilli FM  is the  station listened to most in Launceston, Tasmania with 23.9% All People 10+.

LA FM was second with 22.5% and ABC Northern Tasmania third with 21.2%, making it a tight race between the three stations.

The first commercial radio station began broadcasting in Launceston, in 1930.
 
“Radio has a long history in regional areas like Launceston, but the media landscape has changed dramatically and the survey results will be important in helping us understand how to keep improving our services,” says Commercial radio Australia’s Joan Warner. 

In the breakfast session Chilli FM was #1 with 24.0%, followed by the ABC with 23.7% and LA FM 20.9%.

The research was conducted by Xtra Insights from 18 April – 6 May with a representative sample of 800 participants.
