John Laws is searching for Australia’s next ‘Rising Star’.

In what is described as the ‘fairest talent quest of its kind’, the 2UE morning presenter would like to hear demo’s from anyone, who believes they have the ability to be Australia’s next superstar.

In partnership with Sony Music, the competition is open to anyone who has never had a recording contract.

There are no restrictions on age or location, nor any limits on the genre of music performed by entrants.

Demo CDs and MP3s will be accepted until mid October, at which point Lawsie will announce five finalists.

The winner of ‘Lawsie Idol’ will receive an eight hour studio session with Sony Music, plus the priceless exposure of recording in the Sony Music studios.

Entries can be forwarded as an MP3 to [email protected] or on CD to 176 Pacific Highway, Greenwich NSW 2065.
