Former Nova FM newsreader Maddie Burke can now be heard weekday mornings on 973 Coast FM in Mandurah.
Maddie Burke spent 5 years as breakfast newsreader for Nova Perth and more recently co-hosted the breakfast show on 6iX.
In 2009 she was named ‘On-Air Personality Of The Year’ upon graduating from her broadcasting studies in Vancouver, Canada. The former newsreader says she’s enjoying her time in the Coast FM studios, where she’s also learning music scheduling.
“The Coast FM team is always warm, welcoming and professional. I’m loving the great atmosphere of Mandurah too – especially as we’re finally getting some warmer weather!”, said Maddie.
The station’s Content Director, John DeBellis, says “It is wonderful to have such a talented female broadcaster on the team. She’s a lovely person to work with, so we’re lucky to have her!”
Maddie also teaches radio broadcasting students at North Metropolitan TAFE.
