Matt Dickson returns to SCA in WA Commercial Strategy Leader role

Matt Dickson will return to the SCA fold in Western Australia as their Commercial Strategy Leader. Dickson, in his previous time with the organisation, was National Head of Creativity – The Studio up until he was part of redundancies at the end of the financial year in 2024. He has been working as a client solutions lead with Nine Entertainment in WA, covering for Jaimi-Lee Tatur while she was on maternity leave.

Matt has over two decades of media and creative leadership experience and will drive commercial audio growth and revenue in the agency, direct and regional Western Australia market by developing market strategies, strengthening SCA’s portfolio of brands including LiSTNR, Mix94.5, Triple M, and deepening market presence through client engagement, marketing and industry partnerships. He will also lead product innovation and integrated campaigns, leveraging streaming audio and podcasting trends in collaboration with internal teams and external partners, to position WA SCA as the leading media publisher for advertising revenue.

This appointment is part of several senior leadership appointments in Western Australia. Megan Tuckey will soon start as WA Head of Commercial, with Matt reporting to Megan. Robert Iannazzo is the new Executive General Manager – Adelaide and WA, and Remi Barley General Manager and Head of Sales – WA Regional.

Matt Dickson commences September 1.
