Matty Johns and his brother Andrew were once brilliant on the rugby league field before Matty went on to a television career. Already a seasoned media professional, Triple M is hoping that he can recreate some of that on field magic and score some rating points for them.

On his first day with Triple M’s Sydney Grill Team, alongside Mark Geyer and Gus Worland, it turns out Matty has been nominated for a Logie for his self titled show which has been axed.
