Melbourne Press Club welcomes five new members to the board

The Melbourne Press Club has welcomed five new board members who will provide a boost to the Press Club’s financial, events and sponsorship focus.

Joining are Sarah Coghlan from GRACosway; Mary Gearin, a journalist and communications specialist; Leona Goh from Grant Thornton; Chloe Jeffers from Thrive PR, and Dean Levitan from MinterEllison.

President Michael Bachelard said:

“I’m delighted to welcome five new board members, who will expand the Club’s skills and experience as we support and advocate for journalism in Victoria. The fact that these excellent people are keen to join our board is gratifying, and a vote of confidence in the Club’s future.”

The Melbourne Press Club thanked outgoing board members Patrick Considine, Richard Leder and Matilda Marozzi, for their contributions.

Officeholders are:

President – Michael Bachelard
Vice-Presidents – Jai Bharadwaj and Heidi Murphy
Treasurer – Veronica Scott
Secretary –  Jay Mueller
