On Triple M Brisbane’s Grill Team this morning, breakfast presenter Michelle Anderson challenged people to get their priorities right regarding Floyd Mayweather and the lack of attention given to his horrendous domestic violence record.

The topic was brought up on Q&A on the ABC last night, and on top of the violence, Michelle felt disgusted by his denial and complete lack of remorse on the issue.

She expressed her anger around the fact that despite 2 women a day dying in this country from domestic violence, we still chose to celebrate and give money to a man convicted of domestic violence.

“He might be a 5 division world champion but you have to remember he’s a 7 time domestic violence offender & a denier of that fact”
 
“We do a lot in Australia to address this issue and do remember first that he’s a domestic violence perpetrator and then that he can box, because THAT’s who this guy is”
