92.7 MIX FM on the Sunshine Coast has a new studio… at least for the next 25 hours.

As part of their annual Give me Five for Kids Appeal, Breakfast Announcers Mark & Caroline have been booted from the regular studio, and will be broadcasting from a temporary home out the front of the station in an effort to raise another $25,000 for the Appeal.

“We are actually hoping for some rain, as it makes people feel sorry for us and bring

more donations!” says Mix Co-Host Caroline Hutchinson.

Anchor of the show Mark Darin says: “I’m just hoping we can put up with each other for 25 hours straight”.

Local businesses have been buying an hour of the broadcast for $1000 and with these hours sold and donation received it should lead to over $30K to add to an already healthy fundraising effort.

MIX FM has been raising money through the Give me Five for Kids appeal for over 13 years and has donated over 2 Million Dollars for Child Health Services on the Sunshine Coast.

The 25 Hour broadcast will wrap up on Friday Morning at 9, with Mark & Caroline drawing the winner of a Family Trip to Disneyland that has been the major raffle for the month.
