Moana Hope joins Disrupt Radio for show about women in business

Moana Hope is the latest addition to the yet-to-be-launched digital radio station Disrupt Radio, joining the likes of Jules LundLibbi Gorr and Michelle Guthrie

The former Collingwood and North Melbourne forward is set to host a new business show called Entrepreneur Her.

Speaking with The Herald Sun, Moana said people thought she just played football, but the single mum is also a successful business owner with a passion for women in business.

I run my own business with 160 people who work for me and it’s quite large,’’ Hope said.

I’ve been loving doing pilots. I love learning and it’s cool to see how other women are succeeding and getting back into the workforce. It’s not even just the biggest CEOs, it’s the lady that works down at the fruit and veg shop, that’s got a story too.”

Any woman out there that is giving it a go I’ve got mad respect for.

Disrupt Radio’s founder and chief executive, Benjamin Roberts, says Hope will bring valuable energy and experience to the station.

Entrepreneur Her is an Australian radio first and promises to deliver raw and unfiltered conversations featuring trailblazing women, industry disrupters and thought leaders,’’ Roberts said.

It’s also more than just a radio show – it’s a national platform celebrating entrepreneurial spirit, made by women in business, for women in business.”

Moana embodies incredible strength, resilience and drive, making her an inspirational figure and the perfect host to connect to the ambitious, enterprising women of Australia. We know audiences and advertisers will love Moana’s energy, enthusiasm and storytelling.”
