Following the announcement of the upcoming departure of long time 4BC mornings host Greg Cary, it has been today announced that Drive Presenter Gary Hardgrave will also be finishing up at Cannon Hill at the end of the year.

In a media release, Fairfax Brisbane General Manager Anthony Frangi thanked Gary for his contibution to the station over the past three years saying “Gary has been a true champion of local issues and a driving force behind many successful community initiatives”.

Sources say that management advised Hardgrave that his contract would not be renewed for 2014. 

The former Federal politician will continue to host the 4BC Drive Program until Friday December 6. An announcement about a replacement is yet to be made.
