More movement at MIX, now Bogart quits

After ten years Bogart Torelli has resigned from Mix 106.5 in Sydney. Bogart is the latest in a series of high profile exits from the station as it prepares for format changes when its new PD arrives in the middle of next month.

Torelli is one of Sydney’s most enduring female announcers. After 15 years of regional radio (plus a couple of years on Brisbane’s Triple M in the early ’90s), she was “discovered” by radio veteran Rod Muir in 1997 when he tuned into Coast Rock one day while working at his Central Coast property. He offered her a job on 2SM.

A few months later, she was poached by Mix.

Torelli told the Daily Telegraph that she is looking forward to pursuing other challenges.
