My Generation regenerates

My Generation is changing its focus from showcasing a specific year each week to playing the music and moments of the current week, but spanning a number of years.

Also legendary Aussie rocker Doc Neeson will add his voice to regular hosts Jonesy and Amanda.

Sam Thompson, Group Content Director for MCM Media, said “The evolution of My Generation keeps the show fresh and relevant. Highlighting ‘this week’ allows Jonesy and Amanda to reflect the music and big events of our time in the most contemporary way.”

Brendan Jones added, “Now it’s like a My Generation buffet – a wider selection of classic hits and the stories behind them from all the years we love.”

Produced by MCM Media, the show which launched in 1999 is broadcast to 95 radio stations nationwide, including the Australian Radio Network’s (ARN) Classic Hits metropolitan stations and Southern Cross Austereo’s (SCA) regional stations; and reaches over 453,000 listeners each week.
