On Monday Morning Bundaberg’s HITZ 939 studio became a hive of activity as Dan and Steph, this year’s winners of My Kitchen Rules, dropped in to say hi to their Bundaberg fans.

The “studio” was quickly moved to reception, the office doors thrown open early and the Bundaberg community invited to come and say hi to Dan and Steph. Dan was quick to try his hand at being a radio personality by reading the Local Weather, and Steph generously brought in a batch of her Grand Final Winning brownies.

Tracey and Pete, the HITZ 939 Brekky Team, were only too happy to share the airwaves and chat about the road to success and what’s still to come for Dan and Steph.

“Getting this down to earth lovely couple into the studio was an opportunity we couldn’t and wouldn’t pass up, it’s such a great local success story” Pete, co-host of the HITZ 939 Brekky Show, said.

“The response from kids to Mums and Dads was astounding, listeners and fans lined up for autographs and photos with Dan and Steph throughout the morning” said Tracey, Co-host of the HITZ 939 Brekky Show.

Bundaberg Broadcasters has followed the success of the show from start to finish, often catching up with Dan and Steph on air as they made it through each round of the competition. t
