Neil Mitchell rejects Singleton offer and stays with 3AW

On 3AW this morning Neil Mitchell confirmed that he had “an approach from another organisation wanting to set up a rival station to 3AW.” Mitchell rejected the offer and will stay with 3AW.

Mitchell confirmed on air that he had spoken to John Singleton about the new SEN/3MP/Macquarie Radio network joint venture. He has however, decided to stay with 3AW out of loyalty.

He told his listeners he signed a new contract just after 8am this morning. “You’re stuck with me,” he said on air.
