Cale Porter will be Nova 919’s new afternoon’s presenter, commencing this Monday January 20th.
Cale is heading home to Adelaide after recently working in the Sydney Nova studios hosting the Saturday night Nova Network show from 6pm to 10pm nationally. During his time in Sydney, Cale has hosted fill-in roles for Smallzy’s Surgery and The fresh 40 Countdown, interviewing an array of A-list celebrities including Zac Efron, One Direction and Avicii.
Cale has worked consistently in radio for the past nine years, and is excited to be returning home to Adelaide to permanently host the afternoon’s timeslot on Nova 919.
Porter said: “I’m super excited to be returning to Adelaide and feel very lucky to have landed a full time position for the afternoon’s timeslot on Nova 919. I cannot wait to get behind the mic from Monday.”
Dave Shearer, Nova 919 Program Director said: “Cale is young, local and has great energy about him. He will be a great addition to the Nova 919 line up and we can’t wait for him to start on air from Monday.”
Cale replaces former afternoons announcer Jaben Ryan, who has moved to Nova 96.9 in Sydney.
