Southern Cross Media’s Hit Music Network stations will take Fifi Box and Jules Lund (Monday to Thursdays) and Hamish and Andy (Fridays) between 4.00-6.00pm in a feed from Austereo. The stations will also air Kyle and Jackie-O’s Hour of Power following the drive program.
Replacing the network’s previous drive line-up The Benchwarmers and Lowie vs. America, the new shows will begin at the end of this month.
Commenting on the programming partnership formed between Austereo and Southern Cross Media, CEO Rhys Holleran says he is excited to be welcoming a new stable of programs to the network, and to be bringing Fifi, Jules, Hamish, Andy, Kyle and Jackie-O to audiences across Regional Australia:
“With the brand new team of Fifi and Jules for drive across Monday-Thursday, as well as long-time favourites in Australian radio Hamish and Andy and Kyle and Jackie-O keeping audiences company as they drive home, it’s a pretty exciting way to be kicking off 2011 for us and our listeners.”
Ben Parsons, Head of Content for the Southern Cross Media Group, highlighted the great diversity that these new programs will bring to the group’s Hit Music Network: “All of these announcers are known by audiences across Australia for their original style, humour and approach to radio, and for producing content that listeners can’t get enough of.”
