New Managing Director appointed for RCS New Zealand

British commercial traffic expert Max Davies has been appointed as the new Managing Director of RCS New Zealand, the development base for all RCS traffic products.

Max is a 25 year veteran of the UK advertising and media industries. Currently living in West Sussex, UK, Max and his family will be relocating to Christchurch, New Zealand, a country where he already has personal ties.

Prior to setting up his own project management consultancy in 2013, Max was Business Development and Client Services Director at GES – the UK company behind PlanIT and the Broadnet traffic system. Prior to that he was a Director of JICRIT, the joint industry initiative created by UK radio sales houses and media agencies, where he project managed the development and launch of J-ET, the UK advertising industry’s first electronic trading system.

He will play a key role alongside our Product Manager, Joanna Saré, in the strategic development of our class-leading Aquira traffic system.”

In parallel, RCS also announced that International Support Manager George Nell has been appointed as Operations Manager for RCS NZ, where he will have responsibility for all activities which contribute to the effective production of software and services. The Operations Manager is a senior position directly reporting to the Managing Director. George has been with RCS for over 13 years and has been based in Christchurch for the past three years.
