WIN Corporation’s CEO, George Papadopoulos, has announced the appointment of Tracy Parkinson as new station manager at i98FM.

Parkinson began her career with WIN Television in 1996 joining the Wollongong Sales team as an advertising account executive.

In just two short years, Parkinson moved onto the challenge of station manager at WIN Television’s Mackay office.

In 2000 Parkinson assumed the role of Network Direct Account Executive, at the WIN NBN sales office in Brisbane. In 2002 she returned to Wollongong, moving into radio sales as i98FM’s sales manager and in 2004 she was appointed to the position of Wollongong sales manager at WIN Television.

She will combine the roles of Wollongong sales manager of WIN Television and station manager i98FM, with the dual-position effective immediately.

Parkinson told radioinfo: “I’m very excited about the concept of combining the resources that both radio and television have to offer. Using the blended strengths of the Illawarra’s leading television and radio providers will be of great benefit, bringing further opportunities to the business community of the Illawarra and South Coast.”
