Southern Cross Austereo’s annual Give Me 5 for Kids fundraiser launched in June this year, with Triple M Newcastle aiming to make it the most successful year yet, raising $124,942.18 for John Hunter Children’s Hospital.

Now in its 25th year, Give Me 5 for Kids has raised over $28.5 million for paediatric wards of local hospitals and children’s health-related charities across SCA’s 38 regional markets.

NSW Executive General Manager of Southern Cross Austereo, Ashley Myatt, said; “I am overwhelmed by the generosity of both the Hunter and our own team in what they have achieved to help our kids in need”.

With an action-packed calendar of events including a Sportsmen’s Lunch, a Golf Day and an exclusive performance by Morgan Evans, Triple M encouraged the local community to get involved and dig deep.

Give Me 5 For Kids Director and SCA Chief Operating Officer, John Kelly, says, “We are delighted and humbled by the incredible community support we have received yet again for the Give Me Five for Kids fundraising initiative.”
