Triple M goes Hard N Heavy on DAB+, and Hobart gets Country

Triple M will roll out another DAB+ Station tomorrow, October 1, with MMM Hard N Heavy launching in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with all Metallica all October.
Then, as a destination for lovers of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, fans can expect MMM Hard N Heavy to play everything from Metallica to Motley Crue, AC/DC to Anthrax, KISS to Korn.
Triple M’s Head of Music, Mickey Maher, says “Australia has a large and very passionate fan base of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal yet, until now, it’s a genre that has been underserviced on Australian radio. The people have spoken and we are really excited to launch Hard N Heavy. I’m sure the fans won’t be disappointed!”
Triple M’s full suite of DAB+ stations including MMM Aussie, MMM Country, MMM Classic Rock, MMM Greatest Hits, and now MMM Hard N Heavy can be accessed via DAB radio, the Triple M app.

In Hobart SCA will add MMM Country and Hit Oldskool to its DAB+ offering, joining Hit Easy and MMM Classic Rock and bringing the total number of SCA DAB+ Stations available in this Hobart to four.
Hobart Content Director, Phil Bradley, says, “We are excited to bring Hit Oldskool and MMM Country to Hobart on our increasing DAB+ platform. These stations will complIment our current SCA stations and we’re sure they will be popular additions as DAB+ listenership continues to grow across Hobart with even greater variety.”
