Congratulations to Radio Margaret River (RMR), with the West Australian internet station joining the community radio network and going FM on 101.9 in the near future.
The announcement was made as part of RMR’s 4th Birthday celebrations. RMR is expecting to air on its new frequency early next year expanding its reach from Busselton to Dunsborough, Margaret River to Hamelin Bay.
What was not clear from the article was that Radio Margaret River is currently an internet-only radio station.
In most cases of stations going to FM is when the station currently broadcasts on AM like many rural stations.
I cite the bottom of this site at https://www.radiomargaretriver.com.
For motorists, the station recommends motorists "tune" into the website through the mobile phone and then connect the mobile phone to the car's bluetooth.
