Nic Kelly returns home to the Central Coast’s Hit101.3

Nic Kelly is headed back to the Central Coast to join Hit101.3  as an announcer and in Operations.

Nic comes from the national Hit Network nights shift where he has been filling in across the country, and he says, “I was born in North Gosford Hospital, grew up in Terrigal and was baptised on the dancefloor of Sirens, it’s a proper full circle experience to come back home a decade into my career and talk to my people on Hit101.3 every day.”

“After what the last year has thrown at everyone, spending more time in the place I call home has reminded me what really matters. I can’t wait to be creative with the brilliant people around me, put a smile on dials, love the place I live in and gear up for the best summer of all time on the Cenny.”

SCA Group Content Director, James Speed, says, “I won’t be alone in saying that Nic is one of the most talented announcers in Australian radio. Already an icon to many, Nic approaches every day as an opportunity to genuinely connect to listeners, and truly lives and breathes the Hit brand.

“Nic is a Central Coast local, so his knowledge of the area is outstanding. His deep passion for music and absolute focus on the operations of radio will see Nic become a wonderful asset for us heading into a busy summer and beyond.”

Nic will officially land on the Hit101.3 airwaves from 9am-1pm on Monday, 30 August.
