Nova 100 has Grand Final fever

Nova 100’s Hughesy & Kate are in the grip of footy fever and will celebrate by holding their annual, and last, Grand Final party at Aer Bar, on the roof top of the European Bier Café, on Saturday 28 September.

Nova’s Hughesy, Dan Anstey, Lauren Brain, Deano, Kelli Paun, Nath Valvo and Matt Smithson will be joined by Essendon player Cale Hooker and Richmond’s Alex Rance for Nova’s biggest Grand Final party yet.

American duo Karmin will perform their double platinum hits Acapella (currently No 6 on the iTunes music charts) and Brokenhearted LIVE during half time.

Hughesy said, “No matter where you are in Melbourne on Grand Final Day it is a festive atmosphere but Nova’s Grand Final day party will be up there with the best.”

Listeners have won tickets to the Grand Final party by correctly guessing the famous footy moments from Hughesy & Kate’s re-creation of the original commentary, with more tickets up for grabs tomorrow. 200 guests will watch the game on the big screen with live music, cheerleaders, footballers, food and drink in a party atmosphere. One listener will win a $3,000 Sony home theatre package on the day.

On Monday morning Nova 100’s Hughesy & Kate will have all the party highlights and chat with Hawthorn Captain Luke Hodge about the game.

This is the duo’s last year on breakfast. The final siren will blow on their long running show at the end of the ratings year.
