Fresh from the eastern state beaches of Bondi, lifeguards Hoppo and Deano dropped in on Nova 93.7’s Nathan, Nat and Shaun this morning ahead of tomorrow’s Rottnest Channel Swim.

Ever-conscious of giving the boys a ‘proper’ welcome to the West Coast, Nathan, Nat and Shaun discovered that Hoppo actually has a small fear… of snakes.

So they kindly arranged for a black-headed Python by the name of Baldrick to visit the studio and give Hoppo a little cuddle.

Nat looked on in mild terror herself, not being be biggest snake fan going around, while Deano egged Baldrick on to harass Hoppo. Deano may have changed his tune once it was his turn to hold Baldrick.

What were Nathan and Shaun while all this was going on by the way? Loving every minute of it.

Despite the fact that the weather is looking dicey for an open water swim on the weekend, Hoppo is likely to think anything is easier than a visit to Nova 93.7 and Nathan, Nat and Shaun.
