Nova and Ten connected for cross platform sales

Network Ten Brisbane, in conjunction with Nova, has unveiled CONNECT, a new media sales service.

CONNECT is the cross platform sales division of dmg Radio, Network Ten and EYE Corp which offers advertisers a suite of media assets, across multiple platforms, to deliver targeted communication solutions. It was launched to guests at the station’s program launch last night.

Sam Mellor, an experienced media strategist and business planner, was introduced to guests as the founding executive of CONNECT in Queensland.

With a foundation media asset base of dmg Radio, Network Ten and EYE Corp, CONNECT is designed to be the most channel agnostic, integrated offering in the market.

Mellor says CONNECT’s mandate is “to solve problems, create opportunities and deliver results for clients, it has been road tested by some of the biggest advertisers around, from FMCG and retail to health and tourism and it is clear that the model delivers.”

CONNECT aims to maximise opportunities available across any platform.

“Obviously we have a fantastic base with dmg, Network Ten and Eye, but we will source and integrate other communication partner, as well as develop platforms, if this helps enhance our ideas and the effectiveness of any campaigns. We are really looking forward to getting the opportunity to show clients just how we can integrate and activate their products and services,” says Mellor.

Mellor was a founding partner of Mitchells QLD and has been Account Director on some of the biggest clients out of the Queensland market, including Tourism Queensland, Flight Centre and Virgin Blue.
