Nova Entertainment has updated its apps to enable features such as podcasts and news on demand.
Version 8.1.1 was launched on 21st June.
The new Nova Player app gives users unlimited access to all Nova Stations, an endless playlist of the freshest hits and throwbacks, the latest news, sport and finance on the go, plus hundreds of podcast titles.
Features include:
– Listen live to Nova Stations wherever you are with local news, traffic and weather.
– Keep track of your favourite shows with on-demand catch-up episodes and the latest videos.
– Enjoy more music and radio stations than ever before! Switch from Nova to Smooth, FIVEaa and Star plus a host of DAB stations with a swipe of your thumb.
– Access to on-demand news from within the Player sourced from our partners including The Australian, Sky News, The Daily Telegraph, Fox Sports Australia, News.com.au and CBC.
– Podcasts. Listen to hundreds of podcast titles in the Nova Podcast Network, choosing from news, sport, comedy and entertainment titles with new content uploaded daily.
– Listen with Apple CarPlay
– Australia’s favourite fresh hits with your favourite shows including Kate, Tim & Joel, Smallzy’s Surgery, Chrissie, Sam & Browny, Ash, Kip, Luttsy and Susie O’Neill, Fitzy & Wippa, Ben & Liam and Nathan, Nat & Shaun.
The app also lets fans relive performances from the Red Room archive.
The company’s smooth stations have also been upgraded.
