Sydney’s Nova 969 FM has decided to stick with its pledge of no more than two commercials in a row, despite notching up its third consecutive ratings win in Survey #3.

In a report in today’s Sun-Herald, Nova’s GM, Mandi Wicks, denies rumours that the station will boost ad levels because of its ongoing success.

“I don’t think our listeners would cop it. We’ve been lucky to have some success and a lot of that is due to never playing more than two ads in a row.

“It’s one of our core promises. We’ll never break that.”
