Nova pops up another concert for Soothers

Nova and the Soothers team are at it again, welcoming Bluejuice to the station’s next Pop-Up concert. The sixth concert in the Pop-Up series sees Bluejuice rocking out at a new Pop-Up venue, the basement of Wilson car park in Sydney’s King Cross. It happens next Tuesday March 9.

The first concert in June last year saw Daniel Merriweather perform at the Old Darlinghurst Gaol in Sydney, while Bloc Party packed out The Valley Studios in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley shortly after Sarah Blasko popped into the Abbotsford Convent in Abbotsford, Victoria. Josh Pyke then took to the stage at the Mowbray Bowling Club in Brisbane and late last year Ladyhawke played to a packed room at the Civic Hotel in Sydney.

Bluejuice is made up by five friends – Jake Stone, Stavros Yiannoukas, Jamie Cibej, Jerry Craib and James Hauptmann. They have released two independent EPs and in 2007 released their debut LP Problems, followed by their second album Head of The Hawk in September 2009. Their latest album is a mixture of old and new and pop and dance. Bluejuice will be supported by Sydney pop-punk band, Chaingang.
