NOVA’s Class Act for AFTRS

Last week AFTRS Graduate Diploma Students had an off-site class at NOVA / SMOOTH to learn first-hand about the art of Radio sales.
 
As part of the class NOVA Entertainment Creative Director, Lisa Burton, ran through a creative session with them where they split into 3 groups and wrote and recorded a commercial for AFTRS.
 
AFTRS Head of Radio, Fyona Smith, says that the students found the experience highly engaging “They have a greater understanding of the role of sales in a commercial radio station.”
 
The students also got to hear from clients who attended a panel discussion around why they choose to use Radio.
