Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small is heading to LA and NYC for a live broadcast of the 2018 Grammy Awards.
Smallzy will fly to Los Angeles to interview Troye Sivan, Demi Lovato, James Bay and others before flying to the Big Apple where to bring Nova all the action from the Grammys.
Smallzy said, “Three days into 2018 and I’m on a plane! I won’t lie, this is the best part of my job. I love bringing all the action of these award shows to the radio in Australia.”
During his time in the states, Smallzy will interview some of the key nominees from the 60th Annual Grammy Awards including Zedd and Alessia Cara whose hit ‘Stay’ is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Song of the Year and Record of the Year, along with Imagine Dragons who are all also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Nova will broadcast live performances from the Madison Square Garden event, including performances from Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Pink and Sam Smith.
In his seventh year as host of Smallzy’s Surgery, Kent ‘Smallzy’, 2018 marks the fourth consecutive year the show has travelled to the Grammy awards.
Smallzy’s Surgery was the number one national night show for all eight surveys in 2017 and achieved the show’s highest ever national share (12.4%) in survey 8.
Smallzy’s Surgery will broadcast live from Los Angeles on Thursday 25 January and from New York City from Monday 29 January to Thursday 1 February from 7pm to 10pm on the Nova Network.
