An application for an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO) against Nova 969 breakfast co-host Tim Blackwell has been adjourned until December this year.
The court action was brought by police, representing Tim’s former wife who is mother to his three children, and was heard in Newtown local court this morning.
Blackwell was not present. His lawyer Paul McGirr said Blackwell has the support of his employer and the matter “will be vigorously defended.”
Standard conditions of an ADVO prevent people under an order from assaulting, harassing, threatening or intimidating their former partner. Blackwell has not been charged with any criminal offence.
The proceedings were adjourned until December 18. Nova was contacted for comment.
