New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) and ANZ Bank New Zealand (ANZ NZ) have teamed again for Daffodil Day with an all-day ANZ Donation Station live broadcast to raise funds for the Cancer Society.
The event will be broadcast live at NZME’s Auckland HQ on ZM from 7am to 6pm on Friday 29 August and streamed across iHeartRadio, social media, NZ Herald online and across NZME’s wider radio network. The line up includes including musicians Guy Sebastian, Cassie Henderson and Paige, actor Michael Galvin, TV personality Jeremy Corbett, along with surprise guest appearances and inspiring personal stories.
There are also a host of fun fundraising activations happening across NZME’s network including the Hauraki Ping Pong Champs with The Big Show, The Hits Bake Sale with Matty McLean and Matilda Green, Coast’s celebrity netball game, Flava Breakfast’s Runathon, and a Newstalk ZB interview during the day.
Greg McCrea, NZME Chief Commercial Officer, Agency, said:
“We’re thrilled to be joining forces once again with our fantastic partner – ANZ in supporting the Cancer Society for this incredibly important campaign.
NZME’s platforms play a powerful role in keeping Kiwis in the know and through ANZ Donation Station, we can not only entertain our audiences but drive awareness and inspire generosity.”
NZME’s 1200 strong team across the country will also be getting behind the cause with internal fundraising throughout the day.
