Lindsey Green reunites with her escalator podcast

Love a good escalator?

Well now you can share one woman’s obsession, which became a cult-favourite podcast. That is if you aren’t already onboard!

Lindsey Green wanted to make podcasts. In the very early days of the audio product she decided to make her own.

Her topic of interest: escalators.

Her mission: to highlight the impact of escalators on everyday life.

What happened next: more than she ever could’ve dreamed.

Lindsey, now an Executive Producer at LiSTNR, will share the story behind People Movers, that podcast devoted to escalators, at the Melbourne Fringe Festival. There will be never-shared-before interviews (not with the escalators), audio diaries, and reflections.

Lindsey Green’s Escalator Podcast Reunion will change the way you see these unsung heroes of our cities.

Lindsey said:

“The story of People Movers still surprises me eight years later and I’m the one who made it. I want to share the story for anyone who wasn’t listening to extremely niche Australian podcasts between 2017-2020 and might have missed it the first time around.”

Lindsey Green’s Escalator Podcast Reunion is Lindsey’s Melbourne Fringe Festival debut.
