Although the official anniversary is not till 30th June, next year, over in New local Eastern Bay Of Plenty radio station 1XX is looking for ex-staff to help celebrate with the station as it turns 40.
1XX’s Aaron Anderson says, “We’re gearing up for the big event and have started things off with a Facebook page with memories and blasts from the past. We’ll be adding more over the next few months. Celebrate 40 years of community radio in the Eastern Bay of Plenty with us! We’d love you to share your memories of 1XX and invite any ex-1XX-ers or die-hard fans to join in and share memories and even photos. Spread the word around!”
