Online radio innovator is now doing it for the kids

Boost Digital Radio, which plays new, independent music and lays claim to have been the first online content portal for independent music and film, has introduced a new program channel aimed at young children, streaming content 24/7 and presenting kids music videos on the website.

Graeme Logan, CEO Boost Digital Group, told radioinfo: “BoostDigital Kids Radio is the ultimate free music and video environment for kids and families. It is totally for kids.”

The music on the station, which is aimed at two to five year olds, is presented by “D.D.”, BoostDigital Kids DJ. She plays all their favourites including The Wiggles, Hi Five, Bob the Builder and Bananas in Pyjamas.

As well as playing music, the station also has a number of other features, including fun facts, story telling, child safety information and listener emails.
