Paris Hilton’s video partner says too much to Howard Stern

Howard Stern’s program has been axed from six Clear Channel radio stations after an interview with Rick Salomon, the man filmed having sex with hotel heiress Paris Hilton in an internet porn video.

The program was dropped due to a “zero tolerance” policy on indecency. The network was stung last year with fines for other indecent content.

The action against Stern follows another incident where Clear Channel sacked Florida radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge, after FCC regulators accused him of airing sexually graphic material on WXTB-FM and three other Florida stations.

The US FCC has enforcable broadcast standards on decency in its regulations.
