Paul Terdich resigns as Community Broadcasting president

CBAA president Paul Terdich has resigned from his role at the head of the community broadcasting sector’s peak body to pursue a career change overseas.

At a CBAA Board meeting last month Terdich tendered his resignation, saying it has been “a privilege to serve the community sector” in a time where community broadcasting is receiving more money and recognition.

Radio vice president Shane Elson was elected acting president of the CBAA in Paul Terdich’s place, with Craig Twitt elected to act in Elson’s position until the next Annual general Meeting of the association, which will take place in Melbourne during November.
