Just when you thought Brisbane’s 4BC had all its ducks in a row ahead of 2026, longstanding Wide World of Sports presenter Peter Psaltis, who has been with the station for more than two decades, has announced his departure from radio.

Peter will not be leaving the media or sports commentating, he is going to focus on his TV commitments ahead of the Brisbane Olympics and what has been a tremendous year for local teams in the NRL and AFL.

That leaves a vacancy from 6-7pm weekdays.

The 2026 weekday lineup for 4BC is now:

Sofie Formica and Dean Miller – 5:30am – 9am

Jason Matthews – 9am – midday

Carla Bignasca – midday – 3pm

Gary Hardgrave – 3-6pm

Unknown – 6-7pm

Money News with James Willis – 7-8pm

John Stanley – 8pm – midnight.
