After 15-years behind the mic, Phil ‘Philby’ Jarvis is stepping down as host of Lawnmower Music on Adelaide community station Three D Radio.

Lawnmower Music has been a regular Sunday staple for listeners, known for its unique blend of music and its focus on South Australian and Australian artists.

Jarvis shared the program with Julz on alternating fortnights, contributing significantly to its longevity.

He says “Lawnmower Music is one of the longest running programs on Three D Radio, and I am glad to say the show will continue to deliver plenty of South Australian and Australian artists, and it’s usual mix of music you may not hear elsewhere.”

“I am not leaving the station. I will be contributing behind the scenes to ensure Three D Radio maintains the mantle of being the one of biggest supporters of local music in SA.”

Phil’s last show goes to air on Sunday 29th June.

Three D Radio recently celebrated its 45th year on air, a testament to its enduring presence in the South Australian music scene.

The station is entirely run by volunteers and remains dedicated to supporting local music.
