CONVERGE Darwin 2025 registrations open

The annual national First Nations media industry conference, CONVERGE 2025, and the 2025 First Nations Media Awards will be held from Tuesday 29th to Thursday 31st July 2025 on the sacred lands of the Larrakia people in Darwin.

The theme this year of CONVERGE is “MEETING TOGETHER >> MOVING IN ONE DIRECTION”. Media professionals across radio, television, print, and online platforms will gather to receive valuable sector updates, share stories, celebrate First Nations excellence, network and have a say in helping set the future direction of the First Nations media industry.

The 2025 First Nations Media Awards includes the prestigious Major Awards, highlighting outstanding lifetime achievements and contributions, excellence in Content Awards, and the Development Awards, shining a light on training, organisational excellence and First Nations young people.

Conference details:
Location: The Conference and the Gala and Awards Dinner will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin.
Program: The program includes keynotes, showcases from First Nations member organisations, industry presentations and panels, sector forums and a range of break-out sessions. Day One will be dedicated to the First Nations Digital Inclusion Forum where participants will hear about what is happening in the Digital Inclusion space from government representatives and industry leaders, participate in workshops and share their knowledge and ideas.

TEABBA Drop-in: Conference participants will be provided an opportunity to drop-in and visit our partner and member, TEABBA throughout the afternoon of Monday 28 July 2025.
