3AW’s Philip Brady has reportedly fallen down a flight of 30 marble stairs in Hong Kong. His hip is broken, he is covered in scratches bumps and bruises. 

The incident occurred during a power failure at the hotel where he was staying.

He is scheduled for an operation before he returns home. 

Brady was on holidays and was due back on air for his  “Remember When” show on Sunday night. John Blackman will be filling in for him on his regular night time show with co-host Bruce Mansfield.

Mansfield took a call from Brady last night and says, “Despite the nastiness and seriousness of his injuries Philip is in good spirits, very pleased that his video camera, mobile phone, and teeth all survived without any damage.”
